It’s hard to believe that my baby turned eleven years old this May — how did that happen?! I can remember when he could barely reach the light switch in his room, even on tippie toes, and now he’s nearly as tall as I am! A fifth grader this year, Ian takes jujitsu lessons twice a week, is playing spring soccer, and has a rather active social life. If he doesn’t have a friend over our house, he’s often gone to theirs. Ian plays the trumpet in the school band, but is planning on learning the piano this summer, in addition to taking summer art lessons. Ian has been taking summer art lessons since he was 5 years old, and looks forward to his lessons each year. brother to Evan, and in turn Evan thoroughly enjoys Ian’s company.
I so enjoy seeing the two of them watching television or participating
in a family activity or event together.
