September 2005
I
am currently at work on a “chick fiction” novel. I’m
enjoying the process
greatly, though finding the ability to devote
large blocks of time to it is a
challenge that can be frustrating
at times. I’ve discovered that writing fiction is a lot harder
then writing my book about Evan was. With the chick fiction, the
depths of my imagination are always being explored, whereas writing
about Evan was retelling stories that are stored in my memory banks – my
heart as well as
my head. It’s a good thing to step outside
of your comfort zone, right?
July 2005
July
has been very quiet, and August is looking to be the same. Give me a call! Send
me an e-mail! I'd love to be a part of an upcoming conference, workshop,
and/or classroom experience.
Feel free to contact me at info@evansautumn.com.
May 2005
Things have been slow on the
book promo and presentation front lately, but
that’s not necessarily
a bad thing. The winter and early spring weather in Maine can be
very unpredictable as well as treacherous, so I just as soon stay
put.
June 1st finds me traveling to Augusta for a presentation for the
Center for Community Inclusion and Disability Studies program at
the University of
Maine. After that, however, my calendar is wide
open so feel free to contact me!
